Courtney M. Campbell, MD, PhD grew up in Dallas, Texas. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in History of Science at Harvard University. She earned her MD and PhD in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University. As part of the Physician Scientist Training Program, she completed her internal medicine residency at The Ohio State University and is now in her final year of cardiology fellowship. Dr. Campbell is passionate about advancing the care of patients at the intersection of cardiology and hematology/oncology through leading projects and mentoring trainees in clinical-translational research. She has presented her work at international conferences and published in top journals. Dr. Campbell is a member of the national ACC Cardio-Oncology Section Leadership Council.
