Speaker Bio:
Dr. Mohamed Elshazly is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Orlando Health, Orlando FL. He trained in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He has a masters degree in Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University. His research and clinical interests focus on atrial fibrillation, digital health and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on the clinical applications of wearable devices in cardiovascular care and arrhythmia management. He has published more than 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals and received several research awards and grants and led clinical trials in digital health.
