- The importance of a specialized field to care for women with heart disease in pregnancy
- Components of a successful cardio-obstetrics team
- How normal hemodynamic changes of pregnancy intersect with heart disease
- How we monitor cardio-obstetrics patients during pregnancy and the nuts and bolts of creating a delivery plan
Background:
The Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology Fellows-In-Training (ACC FIT) Council Grand Round Series will present a noon session approximately every two months to highlight the extraordinary work being done to mitigate disparities in cardiology. Each session will rotate between different Ohio fellowship programs.
Goal:
The goal of the grand rounds is to bring a better understanding of the root cause of disparities in cardiology and how our speakers have dedicated their careers to the topic. Participants will learn more about the given topic, the speaker’s career journey, and her/his niche in the field.
