Mangeet Chahal, MD is an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation Cardiologist, with an international footprint in both Canada and the U.S. She has spent an equal duration of her career in both countries, and has recently been recruited by The Cleveland Clinic, to serve as the Medical Director of the Advanced Heart Failure regional program. She completed her medical school, internal medicine residency, and cardiology fellowship from the University of Toledo, and her Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation Fellowship from The Ohio State University. Mangeet has served in many leadership positions including the chair of The American College of Cardiology Fellows Council of Ohio. She continued to distinguish herself upon her return to her Canadian roots as she pushed the needle forward in Heart Failure across the nation, demonstrating leadership, unrelenting determination, and a commitment to excellence. She currently serves as the President of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Academy, Director of the Canadian Heart Failure Society, and previously as Secretary-Treasurer of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Academy.
