Kelly is originally from Columbus, Ohio. She attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic. She served as a chief resident at the Cleveland Clinic on an all women chief resident team. Kelly is currently completing her cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the Ohio State University. She will be serving as a chief fellow at the Ohio State University on an all women chief fellow team. Kelly is planning to complete her interventional cardiology fellowship at the Ohio State University.
