“I believe that cardiology exemplifies the perfect balance between autonomy, complexity, and a connection between effort and reward, which are three satisfying qualities of a profession. It provides a stimulating and intellectually challenging career path, promotes life-long teaching and learning, and builds fulfilling, long-term physician-patient relationships.”
I am originally from Pennsylvania, where I completed my internal medicine training at Penn State. I was fortunate to be chosen as chief resident in internal medicine after completing residency, which further sparked my interest in teaching and medical education. As a cardiology fellow at The Ohio State University, I was again chosen to be chief cardiology fellow in my final year. I look forward to my career in an academic center where I can continue to educate and mentor the next generation of students, residents, and fellows.
