Congratulations to Election Winners!

Congratulations to Karanvir “Kanny” Grewal, MD, FACC and Andrea Robinson, MSN, RN, CCRN for being elected as the next Ohio-ACC Governor and Cardiovascular Team Liaison respectively! They will serve in an “elect” role beginning in March 2020 and assume their new roles in March 2021.

Dr. Grewal is currently the System Chief for Cardiovascular Imaging for OhioHealth and has been a practicing cardiologist at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus for the past 22 years. He trained in Cleveland, completing residency at MetroHealth and cardiology fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He served two terms on the Ohio-aCC Board of Trustees and currently serves on the Board of the Columbus Medical Association. His clinical interests include sports cardiology, cardiac prevention, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiac CTA.

Andrea Robinson is an Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with 12 years of experience in the healthcare field, currently practicing at OhioHealth’s Riverside Methodist Hospital in Electrophysiology in Columbus, OH. She is the advanced practice clinical coordinator for the left atrial appendage clinic and the lead advanced practice provider for the Atrial Fibrillation clinic. She is an active member of the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology Cardiovascular Team Council and has been involved with cardiovascular health legislative advocacy efforts at the state and national levels. She is also an active member of PODEMOS, a non-profit organization through The Ohio State University College of Medicine, which runs biannual medical brigades and provides chronic care to underserved patients in El Progresso, Honduras.
