Objectives

Purpose:
Case-based panel discussions geared toward incoming general cardiology fellows to help prepare for cardiology fellowship with a special focus on emergent cases and on on-call scenarios.

Objectives:

  1. Discuss “what to do” and “how to do” practical aspects of cardiology oncall.
  2. Recognize and manage cardiogenic shock.
  3. Acquire basic skills of managing cardiac tamponade.
  4. Acquire basic skills of troubleshooting VT storm.
  5. Learn from your colleagues’ worst case nightmares.
